Former Bafana Bafana player dies in hospital
Philemon Raul "Phil" Masinga was a South African footballer and manager who played as a striker from 1991 to 2002. He played in the English Premier League for Leeds United, and Italian Serie A for Salernitana and Bari.

WFormer Bafana Bafana player Phil Masinga passed away at Baragwanath Hospital this morning after suffering from a long illness.
Masinga played for played in the English Premier League for Leeds United and Italian Serie A for Salernitana and Bari. He also played for Jomo Cosmos and Mamelodi Sundowns with his cousin Bennet Masinga, St. Gallen and Al-Wadha. He represented South Africa in 58 international games, scoring 18 goals and in 2006.
