R544 collision claims four lives
Four people were killed last night on Saturday around 21h00 during a head-on collision that occurred between two sedans on R544 Road between Verena and Emalahleni.
The four died at the scene.
Two people in one of the vehicles were burnt beyond recognition when one of the vehicles caught fire on impact.
Two seriously injured people, one from each vehicle, were rushed to a nearby hospital for further medical attention after being stabilised on the scene.
The cause of the crash is not yet established and the police are still investigating.

Mpumalanga Community Safety Security and Liaison MEC Pat Ngomane has called on motorists to always remain cautious whenever they are on the road.
