Metro FM Music Awards postponed to May

Inevitable circumstances caused the postponement of these coveted awards, which were to be presented on April 29.

A new date for the highly coveted Metro FM Music Awards has been announced.

Initially set to take place on April 29, the awards have been postponed to take place a week later, on Saturday May 6. The hosting city remains Mbombela.

The SABC and the Mpumalanga Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation said in a media statement that the change of dates was necessitated by circumstances beyond their control.

The SABC’s radio group executive, Nada Wotshela, apologised for the inconvenience.
