Vodacom Mpumalanga hosts career day in KaNyamazane

They offered grade 11 and 12 learners a glimpse into the world of possibilities.

Vodacom Mpumalanga hosted a career day at Sitintile Secondary School on Thursday, July 24, in celebration of Nelson Mandela Day.

The initiative formed part of Vodacom’s ongoing commitment to uplift and empower the youth through education, innovation, and opportunity creation.

According to Vodacom’s managing executive, Monde Ngcukana, the event welcomed 400 grade 11 and 12 learners, offering them a glimpse into a world of possibilities.

They were introduced to a wide range of career paths, bursary programmes and internship opportunities. Vodacom Mpumalanga partnered with various stakeholders to bring impact to their 67 minutes celebration.

“The stakeholders provided the learners with valuable insights and guidance to help them make informed decisions about their futures,” said Ngcukana.

They were also introduced to Vodacom’s eLearning platform – a powerful tool that enables self-paced learning and skills development in the digital age.

“This career day is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of potential. By investing in our youth, we honour Madiba’s legacy and help build a brighter future for our communities,” Ngcukana added.
