Pastor launches inspiring new book in Mahushu near Hazyview
Sandiso Likhuleni launched a new book that encourages people to embrace their talents and find purpose through their gifts.
Pastor Sandiso Likhuleni, affectionately known as Pastor Sands, officially launched his new book, Stop Hiding and Start Living: Your Happiness Lies Within Your Gift.
The launch was held in Mahushu, near Hazyview, on April 25.
Guests at the launch had the opportunity to engage directly with the author, ask questions, receive signed copies, and enjoy food, music and a joyful celebration.
Likhuleni said the book is aimed at people who feel they have nothing to offer their communities, or who have been discouraged by the negative opinions of others.

He explained that the message of the book is rooted in the belief that every person carries greatness within them.
“A skill becomes a gift when an individual becomes truly passionate about it. Authentic happiness is found when one stops hiding their unique talents and begins to live through them,” he said.
He added that the book is deeply inspired by his own life journey.
Raised by parents who had no formal education, Likhuleni said they taught their children dignity, discipline and strong values.

He reflected on his path – from being a Sunday school teacher to a youth leader, and eventually a respected community figure.
Pastor Sands credited his brother, fellow author Sbusiso Theledi, for encouraging him to finally write the book after years of wanting to do so.
He said his faith in God and Jesus has remained central throughout every milestone in his life. His guiding motto is: “To influence and help direct people’s minds towards positive thinking.”
While written for everyone, the book carries a strong message for parents and young people. Likhuleni said many youth are pressured into popular careers such as medicine or nursing, while their true gifts may lie in soccer, photography, music, modelling or other creative fields.
He urged parents to support their children’s natural talents, saying education is important, but so is nurturing God-given abilities.
Published by Mbokodo Publishers, the book is available directly through the author and online via Mbokodo Market Store.
Likhuleni is personally handling distribution to ensure the message reaches those who need it most.
