Ehlanzeni TVET College showcases robotics at 2026 National Science Month Programme in Mkhondo
Technical and vocational education pathways offer high school learners practical exposure to high-demand careers in technology and innovation.
The Ehlanzeni TVET College participated in the 2026 National Science Month Programme hosted by the Mpumalanga Department of Education at the Mondi Science and Career Guidance and Further Education and Training (FET) Skills Centre in the Mkhondo Local Municipality on July 27 and 28.

On Monday, the college showcased exciting robotics demonstrations, giving Grade 9 and Grade 12 learners an interactive glimpse into the world of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Through these hands-on demonstrations, learners were inspired to explore innovation, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and consider career opportunities in the rapidly evolving technology sector.
On Tuesday, it continued with its participation in the programme, engaging learners through interactive exhibitions and practical demonstrations. The event provided an exciting platform for learners to discover the possibilities within science, technology, engineering and innovation while highlighting the value of technical and vocational education in preparing young people with future-ready skills.
