Last week saw the cream of the crop in the music industry battling it out on stage during the first annual TSB’s choral festival.

The mesmerising choral shindig had several choral ensembles showcasing their repertoire with their angelic voices at the TSB training centre in Malalane.

The event was a clear indication that the standard of choral music can match that of their international counterparts.

Six choral groups from Nkangala District municipality, Gert Sibande Municipality and Ehlanzeni District Municipality took part in the festival. Ehlanzeni Choral Singers walked away with a whooping R25 000 after impressing the sponsor TSB with a song dedicated to the company – the only category where participants were judged.
