Lira, whose real name is Lerato Molapo, told Mpumalanga News that her show which will be held tomorrow at the Emnotweni Arena, is part of her 10-year celebration in the music industry.
The multi-award songstress, who oozes confidence on and off stage, said her fans would be taken down memory lane with hits that had her selling triple-platinum albums.
“My fans should expect me to perform some of their favourite songs, which is part of my decade celebration, including songs from my current album. I will mesmerise them to the fullest,” she said.
Lira added that copies of her recently launched book, Making a fresh story and her Captured tour DVD and CD copies – which boast 22 000 sales – including T-shirts, will be sold at the event. Bianca Caldera, Ben Quuabe and Angela Khumalo are only some of the local acts that are expected to perform alongside Lira. Tickets to the event are R180 per person. Enquiries:
