Valentine’s Day treat in the garden

Energy, more energy and nothing but energy. This is what songbird, Moneoa Moshesh promises Lowvelders on Valentine’s Day.
This vibrant musician will perform at the Lowveld National Botanical Garden on February 14.

“I really enjoy performing in Mbombela. This will be another performance filled with nothing but fun, and we are spicing it all up with love,” said Moneoa during her telephonic interview with Mpumalanga News.

Famous for her hits, “Is’bhanxa”, and “More Than You”, the musician says she has great surprises for her audience on the day.

“I always bring surprises to my performances, but this one will be memorable. I don’t want to divulge a lot but I really want to encourage people to come in numbers with their loved ones to enjoy the picnic,” she said.

The day will also be graced by our very own Unkle Mdu, Sweet Mike from Ligwalagwala, Legento and Mr Chillax who are set to serenade the crowd with sweet, soulful and romantic ballads.

“Activities of the day include karaoke, tug of war, sack race and an egg-and-spoon race, to name but a few. Children’s entertainment will also be available in the form of jumping castles and water slides.

Bring your picnic basket and join us for a day set to be filled with nothing but love,” said Phumlani Phumza, organiser of the event.
Tickets are available at Computicket and the venue for only R200 per couple and R120 for singles.

“As part of our corporate social responsibility and community development, a percentage of the revenue generated through the event will be donated to charity,” concludes Phumlani.
