United set to face their rivals with heads held high

Mbombela United will attempt to break their dry spell when they take on fourthplaced Black Leopards next Saturday, October 17.

Tingwenyama have never beaten a Limpopo-based team and would certainly be looking to break this record.

They will meet Leopards at Thohoyando Stadium. Even though the home
team missed out on an opportunity to collect all three points this past Sunday when they played Highlands Park at KaNyamazane Stadium, Sostern Gutsa said the spirit in the camp was high ahead of this clash.

Gutsa said the heat in Limpopo will definitely affect the players but they will not give up the fight until the fat lady has sung.
“We have never played Black Leopards before, and so we going there to play for a victory despite of any challenges that we may face there, such as the heat and their supporters,” he said.

United are currently in position eight on eight points after six games. Gutsa praised the team’s supporters for staying loyal and
their support.

“We are so proud of our supporters who always stand by our side whether we play at home or away. Because we understand that our supporters play a huge role, we have offered them discounted rates
to attend our games. We have different membership cards to suite everyone and they cost between R50 and R100 for elders and include many benefits,” said Gutsa.

He said membership card holders will get free tickets for all home-league games and discounted rates for away transportation. He said fans who wanted to accompany Tingwenyama to Limpopo, should contact
Mzwandile Nkosi on 071-111-9175 to make arrangements.
