Maseko leaves Tingwenyama

We wish Maseko well in his football future as a coach or in any position he may find himself in. His name will forever be embedded in the history of Mbombela United

National First Division (NFD) side, Mbombela United have parted ways with their long-serving assistant coach, Mfanimphela Maseko.
Maseko has since joined newly formed side, TS Sporting, which will be campaigning in the SAB Regional League next season.
TS Sporting has purchased the status of Barberton City Stars. Stars were relegated to the SAB League from the Mpumalanga ABC Motsepe League last season. But the Barberton based side has since bought their way back to the ABC Motsepe League after purchasing the status of Justicia Celtic from Mapulaneng.
Sostern Gutsa, Communication officer for United, confirmed the departure of Maseko.
“We wish Maseko well in his football future as a coach or in any position he may find himself in. His name will forever be embedded in the history of Mbombela United, which he served whole heartedly both as the team captain and as a head coach then as an assistant. We wish to see him excelling well and surpassing his current achievement,” said Gutsa.
Maseko was in charge of United when they won promotion to the NFD during the ABC Motsepe play-offs that was held in Kimberley in the Northern Cape during the 2014/15 season.
He is among the first players to join Tingwenyama when the team was established in 2010 and while it was still campaigning in the SAB Regional League.
