Daanjie Shooter basketball team is over the moon

The coach of the local basketball team Daantjie Shooters Mr Swekie Mamba told Mpumalanga News that 2016 was a great year for his teams as on Saturday they were announced as the new champions of the Ehlanzeni Basketball league and the Mbombombela basketball mayoral cup.

The jubilant coach had this to say “I’m over the moon, I am more than confident to say that 2016 was our year with my boys. We have scooped a number of cups since the year started and history was made in 2016. We are the first championship of the mayoral cup,” said Mlambo.
