The event took place at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg and with the evening’s theme being Resort Chic, it was a true African example of our diverse colour palette.

Minnie Dlamini was by far the most anticipated cast member, with fans scrambling to get a glimpse of the beautiful star.

In true Minnie fashion, she wore a sexy, lace, strapless dress with a lovely floral pattern sewn into it and neon yellow stilettos to top off the look.

Lead character Kajal Bagwandeen wore an elegant long, black, off-shoulder dress with a longer than usual train with beautiful strap-up heels revealed by the spicy slit in the dress. This was topped off with pearls around her neck.

Tumi Morake played our favourite character in the film, Noks. She showed up in a long shocking yellow dress. The dress was off-shoulder on one side and it had feathers on the long sleeves.

Stevel Marc, the Jamaican actor, was a favourite among the ladies and showed up in a buttoned down blue and white shirt which complimented the theme, paired with a coral slacks and white sneakers. He accessorised his look with a lot of gold jewellery.

Director of the film Bianca Isaac went for a more traditional African print skirt and Popular actor Prev Reddy showed up in lace pants and blouse.

The film was shot during the Covid pandemic and is set in Zanzibar. This hilarious adventure comedy was released on 31 March 2023.
