A lucky waiter from Pretoria received a whopping R124 000 tip this past weekend, but that was not was the cause of the social media frenzy. 

The bill of more than R1.3 million spent on drinks and food at a Pretoria club is what caught everyone’s attention. 

Someone managed to get a snap of the ridiculous bill and shared it on social media.

The receipt shows that R1 374 945 was spent mostly on drinks at 012 Lifestyle Brooklyn, which is in Brooklyn Mall in Pretoria.

The slip also shows that the lucky waiter who tended to the party got an R124 000 tip.

The restaurant could not be reached for comment yet but has reportedly confirmed the bill. 

What was ordered and exactly how much it cost:

• 100 bottles of Ace of Spade champagne at R10 000 each
• 50 bottles of Vauve Rich champagne at R2 000 each
• 20 bottles of Dom Perignon champagne at R6 000 each
• 10 300ml cans of Coke at R25 each
• 3 bottles of Glenfiddich scotch whiskey at R9 500 each
• Food platter R650
• Food platter R550
