1 person killed and several hurt in N3 Durban-bound shooting and accident
Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes as the N3 Durban-bound is closed.
A shooting incident and car accident near the Pavilion, on the N3 towards Durban, has left one dead and multiple people injured.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says one person has been killed as a result of the shooting.
He adds that multiple patients are being treated at the scene by paramedics as a result of both the shooting and the accident.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known. SAPS will investigate, says Jamieson.
The N3 Durban-bound will be closed for some time. Motorists are advised to avoid the route.
