2 girls murdered in KZN, teenager arrested
Police found two children deceased, with bruises on their necks, at a house in Cliffdale.
An 18-year-old is expected to appear in the Hammarsdale court on Monday in connection with the murder of two girls, aged 10 and 12.
According to an article published by Highway Mail, police spokesperson Captain Carmen Rhynes says it’s alleged that Hammarsdale SAPS received a complaint about a murder in the Cliffdale, KZN, area.
“SAPS members proceeded to the crime scene, where they found a woman, the mother of the two deceased girls.
“The mother pointed out the house where the bodies were found. The two girls were found lying on the ground in the bedroom with bruises on their necks. Both girls were found deceased at the scene.”
A teenager has since been arrested in connection with the murders and will appear in court on Monday.
The Cliffdale area recently made headlines when a man killed four people, including two police officers.
The suspect was later found dead following a shoot-out with the police.
