CPF member and dog found dead in Krugersdorp garden

Police have opened an investigation into the murder of a man and his dog’s death.

A 53-year-old man was found murdered at his Wentworth Park, Krugersdorp, home on Friday afternoon.

According to an article published by Krugersdorp News, Gauteng Police spokesperson Dimakatso Sello says the victim was a CPF Sector 4 patroller.

His body, which had stab wounds, was found in his garden. His dog was also found dead, next to him.

“As far as we are aware, the suspect is an alleged day worker employed as a gardener, however, no arrests have been made and we are investigating the case,” Sello says.

The victim’s family was approached but did not want to comment or reveal the deceased’s identity at this stage.

Krugersdorp News will publish more information as it becomes available.
