Campus manager shot dead in his car in Delmas

A man who walked up to a car and shot a man in the driver's seat is being sought by police.

The campus manager of Buhle Farmers’ Academy was shot dead in his vehicle on the academy grounds along the R42 in Delmas, Mpumalanga, yesterday afternoon.

Ridge Times reports that Delmas police were called to the scene of the murder at around 16:00.

They found the deceased in the driver’s seat of a white Kia parked on a gravel road. He had been shot dead.

The passenger, the terrain manager, had been inspecting the grounds with the deceased and had stopped on the gravel road near the water tanks.

According to the police, the two men noticed a black Volkswagen Polo stopping not far from their location. An unknown man walked up to the driver’s door and suddenly opened fire, killing the driver.
