Police seek help tracing family of deceased Edenvale man
Authorities are appealing for information to help trace the relatives of a deceased Illiondale man whose body remains unclaimed.
Edenvale SAPS has appealed to the community to help locate the family of a 55-year-old man whose body remains unclaimed at the Germiston mortuary, reports Bedfordview Edenvale News.
According to police, 55-year-old Douw Gerbrandt Muller, also known as “Dino”, is believed to have died on June 26.
His body has not yet been claimed by relatives.
The deceased’s body remains at the Germiston mortuary.
According to Fiona Pickett, Edenvale CPF’s executive public relations officer, Muller is believed to have resided in Illiondale before his death.
She said attempts to trace his family through the address linked to his ID document were unsuccessful.
