From classical opera and violin showstoppers to boeremusiek and pop, five acclaimed musicians unite for an open-air concert in aid of SANParks, reports the Lowwelder.

Five South African performers will take the stage in Skukuza on March 20, 2027, for a fundraising concert supporting conservation in the country’s national parks.

The Kruger Concert for Conservation, organised by the SANParks Honorary Rangers, will feature singer and tenor Timothy Moloi, soprano Lynelle Kenned, pianists Coenie de Villiers and Rocco de Villiers, and violinist Lizelle le Roux.

Under the theme ‘Harmony in Nature’, the concert will combine classical music, popular favourites and traditional Afrikaans boeremusiek in a bushveld setting.

The programme includes The Prayer, Music Box Dancer, Karoonag and O Mio Babbino Caro, alongside ballads and violin pieces ranging from Handel to Pirates of the Caribbean.

The event forms part of the SANParks Honorary Rangers’ fundraising efforts to support conservation and other needs identified by South African National Parks. The organisation’s work includes anti-poaching initiatives, snare removal, alien plant eradication, environmental education and infrastructure improvements.
