Autopsy for Pta jacuzzi accident victim
André van Huyssteen died at the Steve Biko Academic hospital on Tuesday night, following a freak accident in a jacuzzi in August.
The 30-year-old Krugersdorp man who died in a Moot hospital last week, will undergo an autopsy on Monday, Rekord Moot reports.
André van Huyssteen died at the Steve Biko Academic hospital on Tuesday, November 6 at night, following a freak accident in a jacuzzi in August.
“Words cannot explain how it feels to lose a child. It is truly heartbreaking,” his father, Ben said.
Ben said the delay in the autopsy was because a charge at the police had to be laid against the owners of the jacuzzi.
He said funeral arrangements were not yet made.
“We are first waiting for the autopsy to be conducted,” he said.
Ben said many fundraisers would also be held in an attempt to raise money for the family.
“André was the bread winner and his wife needs all the help they can get,” he said.
He said the fundraiser organised for André on Tuesday would go ahead.
“The funds generated there, will now go towards his family,” he said.
The fundraiser will be held at the Krugersdorp golf club.
