What’s for dinner? Spicy mince with peppadew and caramelised pineapple pizza

Think outside the (pizza) box with this unusual Mexican with tropical flavours combination.

You’ll need: 30ml oil; 167g onions, roughly chopped; 10g garlic, finely chopped; 500g beef mince; 5g red chilli, finely chopped; 10g Robertsons Veggie Seasoning; 5g Robertsons Mixed Herbs; 1g Robertsons Cayenne Pepper; 500ml Knorr Tomato Pronto; pineapple pieces, mozzarella, peppadews; tomato base sauce; store-bought pizza bases.

How to:

Preheat oven to 220˚C.

In a pot, add the oil and sauté the onions until soft and translucent. Add the garlic and beef mince. Allow cooking until mince is browned.

Add the chilli, Robertsons Veggie Seasoning, Robertsons Mixed Herbs and Robertsons Cayenne Pepper (optional) and lastly the Knorr Tomato Pronto. Allow cooking for 5 minutes.

To assemble:

Top the pizza base with tomato base sauce, mozzarella, spicy beef mince mix, peppadews and pineapple pieces. Bake in a hot oven for 10 minutes.
