How to make a paper cow

Aside from being a fun Saturday afternoon craft, you can use this paper cow as part of your preschooler's alphabet lessons – C is for Cow.

It also provides a chance to explore the “C” sound and practice writing both the uppercase and lowercase letter C.

What you need

  • Coloured cardboard (in pink, tan, white, brown or black)
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Markers (optional)
  • Googly eyes (optional)

How to make it

  1. Download a cow craft template here.
  2. Print, and cut out the pieces.
  3. Let your child use markers to add detail to their cow craft.
