Cream cheese garlic buns and sticky Asian ribs

These delectable cream cheese and garlic bread buns paired with sticky Asian ribs are inspired by Korean flavours.

This mouthwatering dish made in the air fryer combines the creamy richness of cream cheese and garlic-infused buns with the bold flavours of sticky Asian-style ribs. Recipe compliments of Instant Pot.

Ingredients

  • 6 milk buns
  • 150g melted butter
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 175g cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup fresh cream
  • Pre-packed Marinated Sticky Asian Pork Ribs

Method

1. Preheat air-fryer at 180°C (roast option)
2. Place ribs and allow to cook for 20min.
3. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic and chopped parsley (1 egg optional). Set the mixture aside.
4. In another bowl, combine the cream cheese and fresh cream and transfer it to a piping bag.
5. Diagonally slit each bun from three sides, creating an opening. Pipe the cream cheese filling into each bun.
6. Dip the filled buns carefully into the butter mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
7. Air fry (bake option) the buns at 180°C for about 4-5 minutes.
