As the weather gets colder, it’s time to infuse your cocktail repertoire with the warm and spicy flavours of gingerbread. This winter cocktail combines the taste of gingerbread with the sophistication of a classic martini, creating a perfect balance of sweetness and spice.


  • 50ml vodka
  • 25ml gingerbread syrup
  • 15ml coffee liqueur or Irish cream (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Ground cinnamon or cinnamon stick, for garnish
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of ground cloves


  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Add the vodka and gingerbread syrup to the shaker.
  3. Add in ground nutmeg and ground cloves.
  4. Optionally, pour in the coffee liqueur or Irish cream for added richness.
  5. Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to chill the ingredients.
  6. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
