Spectre Black Badge becomes most potent Rolls-Royce ever produced

The Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge has arrived, bringing more power and sharper handling to the brand’s first electric model.

The Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge marks the first time Rolls-Royce has applied its high-performance Black Badge treatment to an EV.

Power output rises by 55 kW, giving the Spectre Black Badge a total of 485 kW. Torque peaks at 1 075 N.m when Spirited Mode is engaged, a feature that requires both the brake and throttle to be pressed simultaneously. This allows the grand tourer to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, making it the most powerful production Rolls-Royce to date.

While the standard Spectre focuses on effortless cruising, the Black Badge variant sharpens the driving experience. The dampers have been retuned to reduce body movement under hard acceleration and braking, while the steering gains additional weight for a more connected feel. Roll stabilization has also been adjusted to improve handling.

Visually, the Black Badge Spectre introduces exclusive design elements. It can be ordered in a new Vapor Violet colour with an Iced Black bonnet, while the signature dark chrome trim extends across the body. The illuminated grille remains, and a “waft” coachline can be added along the lower half of the car. The bespoke wheels are unique to the Black Badge variant.

Inside, the cabin combines carbon fibre, metal accents, and subtle wood trim. The dashboard houses 5 500 illuminated stars, and an infinity symbol is incorporated throughout the interior. Rolls-Royce applies six layers of lacquer to each panel before manually polishing them to a mirror finish. The digital dials can be customised with five different themes.

With its additional power, enhanced dynamics and distinctive styling, the Spectre Black Badge builds on Rolls-Royce’s push into electrification while maintaining the brand’s signature blend of luxury and performance.
