Chargrilled tenderstem broccoli and chilli mayo
Chargrilled tenderstem broccoli with chilli mayo is an easy-to-make Meat Free Monday dish that can be made on the braai.
This dish fits into almost any meal. It works as a side at a braai, a starter for a relaxed dinner or even a light lunch with a bit of crusty bread. Recipe compliments of B-Well.
Ingredients
- 600g tenderstem broccoli
- 2 Tbsp B-well Canola Oil
- 2 tsps lemon juice
- Salt and ground black pepper
- ¼ cup B-well Tangy Mayonnaise
- ¼ tsp chilli flakes
Method
- Add the broccoli to a large mixing bowl.
- Add the B-well Canola Oil and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
- Toss everything together to evenly coat the tenderstem broccoli.
- Place broccoli on the braai and braai until just tender and slightly charred, basting with any leftover juices as you go.
- While the broccoli is braaing, whip the B-well Tangy Mayonnaise together with the chilli flakes in a small bowl.
- Serve the broccoli warm with the tangy chilli mayo on the side.
