Jetour SUV range in SA: Models, features and prices explained
From city-focused SUVs to rugged off-roaders, Jetour’s growing local line-up offers varied styling, technology and pricing across four distinct models.
Chinese SUV brand Jetour has been gaining traction in the South African automotive market since first launching in September 2024. For anyone interested in what the brand has to offer but unsure which model might suit them best, The Citizen provides a simple guide highlighting the style, tech and prices of its four models.
Jetour Dashing
The Jetour Dashing is a style-focused, city-smart five-seater SUV with a premium feel and accessible price. Its exterior includes split-type LED headlights and a coupe-like profile, while the interior features a streamlined layout with a modern, intuitive infotainment system designed for ease of use.
Powered by a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 115kW and 230Nm of torque, the Jetour Dashing delivers smooth performance through a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Technology is a key feature of the Dashing, including voice recognition, Bluetooth connectivity and remote engine start.
Safety features include ABS with EBD, electronic stability programme, traction control, hill-hold and hill-descent control, ISOFIX anchors, tyre pressure monitoring, four airbags as standard, and additional side-curtain airbags in the Deluxe model.
The Deluxe also adds a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, 360-degree panoramic view cameras and additional driver-assistance features.
The Dashing Momentum model is priced at R439 900, and the Dashing Deluxe at R469 900.
Jetour X70 Plus
Launched alongside the Dashing, the Jetour X70 Plus is the seven-seater SUV in the range. It features elongated LED headlights accentuated by bold chrome detailing and a symmetrical quad-exhaust setup at the rear. In-cabin features include flexible seating and cargo space, ambient lighting and finely detailed red stitching.
The X70 Plus is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivering 115kW and 230Nm of torque.
Rear parking sensors, 19-inch alloy wheels, four airbags, keyless entry, 360-degree panoramic view cameras, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, wireless smartphone charging, automatic LED headlights, an electric tailgate and a six-way electrically adjustable driver seat are included. The top-spec Deluxe model adds six airbags, a panoramic glass sunroof, automatic rain sensors and two additional speakers.
Pricing starts at R454 900 for the Momentum and R484 900 for the Deluxe, positioning the X70 Plus as a blend of premium luxury and value.

Jetour T1
The Jetour T1 is available in four models: The 1.5TD two-wheel drive Edge, 1.5TD two-wheel drive Aspire, 2.0TD four-wheel drive Xplora and the range-topping 2.0TD four-wheel drive Odyssey.
The T1 Edge is priced at R514 900, the T1 Aspire at R544 900, the T1 Xplora at R594 900 and the flagship T1 Odyssey at R634 900.
All T1 models come with 540-degree panoramic view cameras, rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring and LED lighting, including fog lights, automatic headlights and taillights. Heated electric mirrors, roof rails and privacy glass add further convenience.
Power comes from either a 1.5TD engine producing 125kW or a 2.0TD engine delivering 180kW, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Versatility is enhanced by XWD four-wheel drive, high ground clearance and eight driving modes on the Xplora and Odyssey. Inside, the T1 offers a spacious and quiet cabin with large infotainment screens, flexible storage and comfort-focused seating.
Jetour T2
The Jetour T2 is the more rugged and adventure-ready model in the line-up, offering off-road capability alongside refined comfort across three variants: the two-wheel drive 1.5TD Aspire, and the four-wheel drive 2.0TD Xplora and 2.0TD Odyssey.
Safety, convenience and technology are standard across the T2 range, including 540-degree panoramic view cameras, rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring and full LED lighting. Additional features include electrically adjustable heated mirrors, roof rails, privacy glass and illuminated door sills.
Pricing for the Jetour T2 starts at R569 900 for the Aspire, R639 900 for the Xplora and R679 900 for the flagship Odyssey.
