Today is International Tiramisu Day, and what better way to celebrate the world’s most famous Italian dessert than by toasting with a Tiramisu Martini?
Perfect as a post-dinner treat, a unique spin on your usual espresso martini, or just an excuse to enjoy a little liquid dessert, this cocktail is smooth, decadent, and dangerously easy to sip.
Ingredients
- 50ml vanilla vodka
- 25ml coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
- 25ml chocolate liqueur (such as Baileys or Mozart Chocolate Liqueur)
- 25ml freshly brewed espresso (cooled)
- 25ml double cream (or milk for a lighter option)
- 1 tsp mascarpone (optional, but adds richness)
- Ice
For garnish:
- Cocoa powder or grated chocolate, for dusting
Method
- Lightly dust the rim of a martini glass with cocoa powder or dip it in chocolate syrup.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add vanilla vodka, coffee liqueur, chocolate liqueur, espresso, double cream, and mascarpone.
- Shake for about 15 seconds.
- Strain into your prepared martini glass.
- Lightly coat the glass rim with a dusting of cocoa powder or grated chocolate.
