Make mornings better with a breakfast chip stack

The beauty of this recipe is that it comes together quickly using only a few ingredients and it tastes great.

Breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day yet half the time it’s rushed toast, a sad bowl of cereal, or whatever you grab on the way out the door. The Breakfast Chip Stack is easy to put together. Start with golden chips, hot and crisp, stacked on a plate. Add bacon or mushrooms, a slice of grilled tomato, and a fried egg on top. Finish with a drizzle of peri-naise or hollandaise. Recipe compliments of McCain.

Prep time: 10 minutes | Total time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups McCain 10mm Straight Cut Chips
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tomato, sliced and grilled
  • 4 slices crispy bacon (or grilled mushrooms for vegetarian)

  • Perinaise to drizzle
