Enjoy a cup of hot miel coffee

Hot miel coffee is just as good on its own as it is with a rusk, biscotti, or your favourite cookie.

“Miel” is the Spanish and French word for honey, and that’s what gives this coffee its name. A Miel Coffee is easy to make and simple to adapt – sweeter with more honey, creamier with extra milk, or spiced up with a little extra cinnamon. It’s built on strong espresso, blended with milk, honey, and a dusting of cinnamon. For an adult twist, add a splash of liqueur. Recipe courtesy of Goldcrest.

Ingredients

  • 1 double Espresso
  • Milk of your choice
  • 1 – 2 tsp Goldcrest Honey
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Liqueur

Method

  1. Froth your milk and pour into your mug.
  2. Pour the milk into your mug.
  3. Then pour in your double espresso and liqueur if using.
  4. Stir in the honey.
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
