- Treats & sweets
You probably have leftover Christmas chocolates and treats, so why not turn them into a treasure hunt for the little ones? Whether indoors or in the garden, it’s a fun way to keep kids entertained while letting them burn off some energy. Add short clues and simple challenges along the way to make the hunt interactive, exciting, and just the right amount of tiring.
- Games
Board games are always a winner. Set up a designated area around your kitchen counter or in your lounge and allow the kids to go crazy with different board games. Ask your friends to bring their kids’ favourite board games too for a bigger variety. Make it more engaging by setting up a tournament as an incentive to keep them interested and providing awards for those who win each round or game!
- Movie Marathon
Turn your living room into a make-shift cinema and make sure there is lots of popcorn, cool drinks and fairy lights to create the perfect movie atmosphere. If you don’t want the kids to spend too much time in front of the TV, why not start with one of the other activities and end the night with a movie marathon, allowing them to wind down before bedtime.
