Creamy strawberry Pina Colada cocktail

Strawberry, milk and vodka come together in a smooth cocktail that’s easy to drink and perfect for Friday sundowners.

This creamy cocktail sits somewhere between a milkshake and a dessert drink. It’s smooth, lightly sweet, and easy to mix, making it a good option when you want something softer than a sharp cocktail. Strawberry gives it freshness and colour, while milk keeps everything mellow and rounded. Vodka works well here because it doesn’t fight the flavour, but a vanilla vodka or white rum would also fit if that’s what you have.

Ingredients

  • 120 ml full-cream milk
  • 60 ml vodka
  • 40 ml strawberry syrup or strawberry purée
  • 20 ml cream
  • Ice
  • Fresh strawberries, to garnish

Method

  1. Add the milk, vodka, strawberry syrup and cream to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice.
  3. Shake gently for 10 to 15 seconds until chilled.
  4. Strain into two small chilled glasses.
  5. Garnish with fresh strawberries and serve immediately.
