1 killed in 3-truck crash in Pretoria
A person was killed in a collision involving three trucks on the N4 highway, east of Pretoria on Tuesday.
The crash happened at the Donkerhoek Weighbridge.
“When medics arrived on scene, they found two people trapped,” said Rufus Engelbrecht of Emer-G-Med.
“[Upon being freed] one person was declared dead on scene and another was seriously injured.”
He said that two other people suffered moderate to minor injuries.
Engelbrecht said the cause of the accident was unknown.
