3 men sought for gang rape in eMalahleni

A woman was allegedly followed while walking along Walter Sisulu Street, overpowered and forced into a nearby field where she was raped.

A woman was allegedly gang raped by three men who found her walking alone in the CBD earlier this week, reports Witbank News.

According to the police, the woman said that last Saturday, around 18:30, she had been walking on Walter Sisulu Street in the CBD when three men who walked behind her attacked her.

She told police that before she could even scream, one of the men them had already covered her mouth with a silver foil.

The attackers then reportedly led the woman to a nearby field with bushes where the assault occurred.

After the horrible ordeal, the woman said she was then forced back to town.

A case was opened and the woman pointed out that one man was wearing an overall with pink stripes, another one black clothing, while the third attacker wore blue pants.
