A gun battle between police, security officers and suspected criminals resulted in three people being killed.

A dramatic shoot-out unfolded in Parktown in Johannesburg yesterday, leaving three suspects dead after an exchange of gunfire with police and private security officers.

Rosebank Killarney Gazette reports that the three people killed in the shoot-out were suspected kidnappers.
