Accused Mandrax manufacturer’s case set for trial

Suspected Mandrax manufacturer Thulani Mtotoba (50) is expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on August 17 for trial.

After being nabbed in his Brackendowns home, accused Thulani Mtotoba again appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on June 4.

The 50-year-old’s arrest comes after a bust on what was believed to be a Mandrax-manufacturing facility in his Brackendowns home in 2019.

His case was again postponed to August 17 for trial following a brief appearance.
