App delivers credit record within minutes
Keystone Sono, CEO of Akani Solutions, has introduced an app that allows people to view their credit record in a private and timely manner.
It is so often that the purchase of a car, house or even a cellphone can mean maximum stress for the buyer when waiting for credit approval, with minimum results once they have discovered that their credit bureau status is not quite up to par.
The Akani Credit Report App is now available for free download on the Google App Store,Rosebank Killarney Gazette reported.
The app allows its users to submit their personal and financial details and receive their credit report within five minutes.
It has been recognised by Credit Ombud, Nicky Lala-Mohan, as an innovation that will allow consumers more control over their financial dealings.
“It also serves as a safety feature – to avoid identity theft – and [allows consumers to] negotiate better interest rates,” said Lala-Mohan.
“Knowing what is on your credit report means that you can take control of [your] financial health and start making more conscious decisions with [your] money instead of finding out about adverse listings or judgements when you want to apply for credit and are turned down.”
The credit report app is also equipped with a number of other functions, which include identity monitoring – something that is especially useful in these modern times where identity theft is so rife.
The innovative and convenient app was launched on July 14 with high hopes and infinite potential, and it is even already used by a number of high profile personalities such as TV personality Masingita Masunga.
