Case of two arrested in Eswatini for AKA, Tibz murder postponed

Two brothers, who were arrested in Eswatini last week in connection with the murder on rapper AKA, appeared in court today.

The case of two men arrested in the Kingdom of Eswatini for their alleged involvement in the murders of rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes and renowned chef Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane has been postponed to March 12.

Brothers, Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande appeared briefly in the Manzini Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.

They were arrested at Zone 4, located outside the capital, Mbabane, just over a week ago.

According to the state prosecutor, papers for their extradition to South Africa were being prepared and will be submitted within 30 days.

He requested for a postponement to allow for more time for the preparation of the extradition process.

“We are treating the matter with utmost urgency,” he said.

Once in South Africa, the brothers will face charges of murder and attempted murder.

On Wednesday, five of the other accused in the matter, Lindokuhle Mkhwanzi, Lindani Ndimande, Eddie Myeza, Harvey Gwabini and Lindokuhle Ndimande will appear at the Durban Magistrate’s court for a formal bail application.
