Coalition politics: The future of SA government?

The better of two evils? The opposition talks about why they will work with the competition if it means ridding the country of the ANC.

Opposition parties are joining hands with one goal in mind – to get rid of the ANC. Coalition governments seem to be the future of South Africa, but as an interview done with opposition party leaders shows, negotiations can get bumpy. This is especially true when parties must let go of personal issues to achieve a common goal – a better future for South Africans.

How do parties expect the electorate to trust their respective visions going into the 2024 elections if the possibility of a coalition might require them to put their agendas on the back burner to work with the opposition?
