A complaint of a double murder at a house in Turflaagte Township on Monday at about 08:00 was received by the Kopanong police in the Mangaung Metro.

According to police spokesperson Thabo Covane, a patrol vehicle was dispatched to attend to the scene. On arrival, the police discovered the lifeless bodies of two men in different bedrooms of a four-room house.

“Both bodies had multiple stab wounds. The victims were identified as 20-year-old Moeketsi van Breda and 25-year-old Gosiame Makhanya,” says Covane.

He adds that if any members of the public might have information that can help the police solve the two murder cases or assist with the arrest of the suspects, they should contact Captain Motlhanke on 082 466 7410 or 082 301 6382.
