Couple killed in Christmas Day accident near Shaka’s Head
Both victims were pronounced dead on arrival by paramedics.

It was a tragic start to Christmas Day when a couple lost their lives this morning after allegedly losing control of their vehicle.
According to IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst, the man and woman, both in their late 40’s, were travelling toward Shaka’s Head in a light delivery vehicle when they hit a tree.
“On arrival, we found the woman’s body still entrapped in the vehicle while the man’s body had been thrown out,” said Herbst.
