Elections 2024: All systems go at national results centre

Caxton Local Media is live at the elections results centre in Midrand.

The IEC National Results Operation Centre results board is back online after almost two hours and the results board indicates that 55.19% of votes have been declared. It is all systems go again.

Notwithstanding the downtime, the results system remained operational and local offices continued to capture results. The IEC apologised for the issue with the public-facing system.

It is still fairly quiet at the centre and only a few senior party leaders and analysts were spotted on the floor.
