Four taxi association members killed in Hammanskraal

The police’s provincial taxi violence unit is investigating four counts of murder after four people, belonging to a taxi association from Hammanskraal, were gunned down on Sunday, September 26.

The attack happened at around midday at a local shopping centre when the two occupants of a white Audi hatchback drove up to the victims and began firing without warning, according to Hammanskraal police spokesperson Warrant Officer Margaret Molane.

The shooters then fled the scene.

She said the men were declared dead on the scene.
