Les Bleus took on the Boks and the All Blacks at the recently concluded world cup on home soil, beating the All Blacks in the opening fixture, before losing to the Springboks by one point in the quarter-finals.

With the glitter settling on South Africa’s tournament victory, the focus has shifted to the next world cup cycle.

According to Americas Rugby Championship, France dodged playing in New Zealand and South Africa in July 2024 and will instead travel to Argentina to play a two-Test series after the Six Nations.

It will be France’s first visit to Argentina since 2016 and just the second time they will face Los Pumas in the Fabien Galthie-era.

However, a report by French publication Midi Olympique says that Galthie’s charges will take on the All Blacks at home in November 2024, as well as Japan and a third match against Argentina.

That will be the third time that Les Bleus tackle New Zealand under Galthie, who is unbeaten against the All Blacks.

France will reportedly host the Springboks in November 2025, taking on the side that knocked them out of their own world cup.

The November 2025 Test window will be the last of its kind before World Rugby’s planned Nations Championship comes into effect in 2026.
