Johannesburg: duo arrested after they were found with car-breaking implements
The two accused will appear at the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
The Florida Police seized house and car-breaking implements, as well as two different registration plates when they arrested two suspects recently, reports Roodepoort Record.
The suspects, aged between 35 and 40, were arrested on Wednesday, 7 August.
Sergeant Mpho More, spokesperson for the Florida Police Station said, “On Wednesday, a traffic officer from Community Safety was on duty when he noticed a suspicious gold Toyota Fortuner on the Maraisburg on-ramp, which he followed to the Caltex Garage on Albertina Sisulu Road. The driver and the passenger got out of the motor vehicle, but then ran away,” she said.
Mpho added that the two were later arrested.
They will appear at the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
