Krugersdorp road rage incident leaves one dead, another injured
Details surrounding the incident are unclear at this stage but a suspect has been arrested and will appear in court soon.
A 31-year-old man was shot and killed this weekend while another man was injured at the Pinehaven intersection crossing near the N14 highway in Krugersdorp.
Gauteng police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhululwi says this was a result of an alleged road rage incident.
“A man was shot dead while another man (29) was injured after they were shot by another driver.
“It is reported that the shooting was a result of road rage that occurred at the crossing on Sunday evening,” Nevhuhulwi adds.
The spokesperson adds that a 44-year-old man who is the alleged perpetrator of the crime has been arrested, and his firearm was confiscated and will be sent for ballistics testing.
The man is expected to appear in the Krugersdorp Magistrate’s Court soon.
