KZN farmer’s wife assaulted in attack

Four men attacked a woman while her husband was at church.

A farmer’s wife was assaulted when she was attacked by four men on the farm, Doornhof, in the Wasbank area [in the Umzinyathi District of KZN] this morning.

Aletta Potgieter suffered various injuries in the attack, a relative told the Dundee Courier. Her attackers made off with firearms and cash.

She was treated for her injuries and released.

Her husband, Jannie, was at church at the time of the attack.

It is not yet clear if security officials or SAPS have any definite leads following the attack.

Little details about the attack is now at this stage but the publication will update its readers should more be provided.
