KZN father on the run after wife finds him raping daughter (5)

The man was reportedly intoxicated when he arrived home and then proceeded to rape the young girl.

A father from Seatides outside Durban is reportedly on the run from authorities after being caught red-handed raping his daughter.

Reaction Unit South Africa spokesperson Prem Balram said the man’s wife was asleep with their children when he returned home, allegedly drunk.

“She woke up and discovered her husband raping their daughter. She forced him off the child and he assaulted her,” Balram said.

The husband then fled the property.

Tongaat Saps station commander Lieutenant-Colonel Santha Moodley confirmed the incident, adding that investigations were underway.

Moodley did, however, add that SAPS was not in a position to comment on the matter.
