KZN man stabbed to death: 2 suspects arrested

Two men are in police custody following the fatal stabbing of a man over the weekend.

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of Merebank, KZN, resident Guru Liven Pillay, who was killed over the weekend.

According to an article published by Southlands Sun, the first suspect (19) handed himself over to the police on Saturday, while the second was arrested shortly after the police received information about his whereabouts.

The pair were arrested following an intensive, intelligence-driven operation in the area, led by Wentworth police.

They are both detained at the Wentworth Police Station on a murder charge.

Pillay’s body was found at the Punjab Circle in Merebank on Sunday.

According to the police, Pillay, of Sezela Seva Subramanium Temple, was stabbed multiple times. His body was found lying on the grass patch at Punjab Circle.
